I am licensed in the District of Columbia to provide counseling and psychotherapy services. I work as an associate therapist at Parkhurst Associates Mental Health Services, a private group practice in Dupont Circle. I also provide counseling and therapy to students at several universities in the DC area, including the University of California, Washington Center. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

With graduate training and clinical experience in mental health counseling, I work with a broad spectrum of clients. Through my work I have helped people from diverse backgrounds achieve improved health and wellness and move toward greater satisfaction in their lives and within themselves. I strongly believe that no matter what obstacles we face, we each have the resources within ourselves to affect positive change and therapy can be an effective tool in bringing about that change. 

My experiences - both personal and professional - inspire all of the work I do in my daily practice. I believe in people's ability to move on from the past and change themselves to improve their lives, even when things seem hopeless. I will meet you where you are and support you in making your health and well-being a priority.

Making small adjustments in one area of your life can bring relief to other areas. My goal is to help you feel better, more balanced, and more in control of your life. My therapeutic approach includes providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
